After successful times with the EA Team, managing content from the 2023 season through to the European Athletics Championships in Rome 2024, the next Euros in Birmingham gave me the opportunity to capture the everyday action on its own, while also working on a side project exploring one of the most compelling rivalries in athletics today: the women’s 800m. Creating such a project in a reportage way has its limits, although bringing it to life was special as it was a chance to capture the different approaches to a rivalry from three fearless women.
